AGRICULTURAL SECURITY SUMMIT

Agriculture is national security. The work starts on the ground.

A private working summit shaped with the people who run farms and food systems, and those positioned to help protect them.

THE PROGRAM

The summit is step three of six.

Evidence comes in before the day. Priorities, partnerships and projects go out after it.

STEP 01

Field Evidence

Operator-level data on where agricultural functions depend on each other and fail.

STEP 02

Curated Coalition

A small group chosen for what each person controls, not for their title.

STEP 03

YOU ARE INVITED HERE

Field Evidence

One day in person, working through concrete cases.

STEP 04

White Paper

The priorities the room agrees on, written down with the evidence behind them.

STEP 05

Education and Partnerships

Briefings for policymakers and partnerships between the people in the room.

STEP 06

Deployment and Funding

Hardening projects that get financed and built.

THE OPERATIONAL STAKES

A cyber incident can become a production halt.

The FBI warned that ransomware against agricultural cooperatives could interrupt planting and harvest, when delays to grain, seed, and fertilizer operations carry particular costs.

THE RECORD

Federal attention is rising. So is the cost of getting this wrong.

USDA / 2025–26

Farm security is now an explicit national priority.

USDA’s Farm Security Action Plan includes protection of agricultural systems. A subsequent agreement with the defense department began work with DARPA on vulnerabilities and technical responses.

FOOD & AG-ISAC / 2026

227

Ransomware incidents recorded in food and agriculture through July 2026, a 62% increase over the same period in 2025.

THE QUESTION

What would it take to protect the systems people actually run?

National priorities have to meet the realities of a cooperative during harvest, a processing line that cannot stop for an update, or a cold chain that depends on connected equipment.

The summit begins with those conditions. The problems participants identify will determine who else belongs in the room.

THE ROOM

Four perspectives, brought together around the work.

01 / OPERATORS

Where the risk lands.

Growers, cooperatives, processors, and supply-chain teams bring the operating reality and the cost of a disruption.

01 / OPERATORS

Where priorities are set.

Public-sector participants connect operating conditions to security responsibilities, research, and available capabilities.

03 / BUILDERS

What could work.

Founders and technical teams bring approaches that can be examined against a real operating problem.

04 / CAPITAL

What could be sustained.

Investors assess where a clear need, a capable team, and a path to adoption could support lasting work.

PRIVATE FIRST

Help shape the conversation.

F3 Innovate is speaking with a small number of people before setting the summit’s agenda. We want to know which problems you consider consequential, who else needs to be present, and what would make this time worthwhile.

If this page was shared with you directly, reply to the person who sent it. Event details will follow as the room takes shape.
