FARM ROBOTICS
ACADEMY
Design practical solutions for agricultural challenges in California’s Central Valley.
Take on agricultural challenges through design, technology, and teamwork.
The Farm Robotics Challenge brings middle and high school students into the process of designing technology-based solutions for agricultural challenges in their communities.
Working in teams through schools, youth organizations, FFA, 4-H, and STEM programs, participants collaborate with industry partners and apply robotics, drones, artificial intelligence, and data tools in hands-on projects connected to farm operations, pest management, planting, weeding, and field analysis.
Team-Based Problem Solving
Students work together to identify challenges, test ideas, and develop practical responses through structured projects.
Applied Technology Skills
Participants use robotics, drones, AI, and data tools in ways that connect technical learning to agricultural operations.
Industry Collaboration
Teams engage with partners who help ground the challenge in current practices, constraints, and opportunities.
