The Ignition Grant supports Fresno County high school students developing science fair projects connected to agriculture and food systems.
Through funding and mentorship, students can refine their ideas, deepen their research, and move promising work forward with stronger relevance to California’s Central Valley. Connected to the Fresno County Science Fair, the program supports projects in areas such as digital agriculture, automation, drought resiliency, systems testing, and food entrepreneurship, with up to five projects allowed per school.
