K-12 FIELD EXPERIENCES
Designed to expand agricultural literacy and early awareness of the people, technologies, and careers connected to the region’s food system.
Meet the people, places, and practices behind agriculture in California’s Central Valley.
The K–12 Field Experiences program gives 5th–8th grade students a closer look at how agriculture works across the Central Valley.
Through field trips, demonstrations, and virtual experiences with local farms, research organizations, and industry partners, students engage with the land, systems, and technologies that shape how food is grown, moved, and understood.
