Frost Risk Data Challenge awards webinar moved to Dec. 19

The evaluation period for the Frost Risk Forecast Data Challenge has been extended to ensure that each project receives a careful and thorough review from the judging panel. The awards webinar is now scheduled for Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM. 

During the webinar, the Top Research Track Awards will be presented: first place will receive $1,500, second place $750, and third place $400. The top three teams will be invited to present their methods and findings to F3i’s industry and grower partners, highlighting their research and fostering professional engagement. 

All teams submitting valid and reproducible entries will receive a Certificate of Participation, while the top three teams will earn an official F3i Digital Credential, verifiable through the open badging system and suitable for professional profiles or academic curricula vitae. Selected participants may also be invited to join future sprint design teams and commercialization cohorts, providing ongoing mentorship and collaboration opportunities supported by F3i and its partner institutions.
