Intern applications for TerraTech26 now open

Starting Dec. 8, F3 Innovate (F3i) will accept summer intern applications on a rolling basis for TerraTech26. This program connects undergraduate students with F3i industry partners working in food and agriculture innovation across California’s Central Valley. Interns receive paid, hands-on career training and experience designed to support their academic and career development.

TerraTech26 runs from June 1 to Aug. 7, 2026. The application deadline is May 1, 2026.

Students from all majors and backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including those without prior agriculture experience. The program matches students with organizations in food and agriculture, data and AI, and robotics to ensure they work on summer-long projects that align with their interests.

“I got the chance to work with a large team, which was new to me. It was nice seeing how everyone’s role has an impact on the project,” said Mark Julian, an intern at BEAM Circular. “I also received ongoing mentorship from my supervisor, who guided me through my tasks and was someone I could always ask questions.”

Students receive training in professional and soft skills, workplace expectations, program-specific information, and safety and compliance.

“I learned how to work with coworkers, communicate professionally, and get the training I needed. I think it's given me a lot more hope in the job market,” said Christopher Pham, a Milano Technical Group intern.

TerraTech inspires students to explore professional paths they hadn't previously considered before joining the program.

“Without being here personally and being able to experience the circular economy firsthand, I would have never known this was a possible career option,” said engineering student Miguel Angel Reyes about his internship with BEAM Circular.

Students can choose to receive university credit.
